Since October 2018, I am researching community social network interactions of men who have sex with men, for Dr. Tiffany Veinot, director of the Master's in Health Informatics program, and her work on community-level HIV prevention methods.
Specifically, my research question is: How do MSM define community?
I am analyzing nine focus group and almost thirty interview transcripts of men who have sex with men, and carefully drawing conclusions on how they define “community”. The process includes a literature review, coding, and qualitative analysis.
